World Heritage Site

We are going to talk about Indian world heritage site. I’m going to introduce Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal is located in Agra, North India. The construction of Taj Mahal was started in 1632 and was completed in 1653. In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built by twenty thousand hands and thousand elephants.

The Taj Mahal attracts from 2 to 4 million visitors every year, with more than 200,000 from foreign. Most tourists visit in the cooler months of October, November and February. Recently Taj Mahal was damaged by acid rain and air pollution.
